That's Incredible!

Had the opportunity to chaperone a student Halloween dance last night. Costumes were encouraged. I saw several great innovative costumes and some questionable. You be the judge.

There were several students dressed as…how shall I say…well, they had fishnet stockings and high heels with short cutoff jeans on.

I saw a Frankenstein that was on stilts. I saw Eve — she had on a body stocking with strategically placed leaves. I saw Waldo. The American Gladiators were there. A couple of bags of dirty laundry showed up. A kid with a Superman cape on and a sign taped to his chest that said, I am Batman. A kid that looked like he was in the shower with a shower curtain hung around him. Professor Plum and Mr. Green (whom I erroneously took for Sherlock Holmes and Colonel Mustard) were there also.

They were pretty amazing…and I had a hard time picking my favorite until…Mr. Incredible showed up. That’s right Mr. Incredible. And this kid was a spittin’ image — body and costume. All’s I can say is that the guy had to be pretty secure in his self image. For all I know, he could have been an Arnett.
