Summoned again

The first notice stated that I was selected to appear for jury duty on January 2, but to call the Wednesday before to see whether or not the parties had resolved the matter. I called and they had, so no need to appear.

The next notice stated that I was selected to appear for jury duty on February 9, but to call the Friday before to see whether or not the parties had resolved the matter. They didn't and so I showed up. (See previous post to see the results of that one.)

Friday, I get home from work to find another notice to appear for jury duty on February 26. It stated to call the clerk to let them know that the notice had been received. I called. He asked if I had appeared on February 9th. I stated, Yes.

He told me that there had been a mix up with the names on the jury selection and that I didn't need to appear. He also stated that since I had been selected twice that I was now exempt for the next two years…we'll see.
