Where do we fit in?

cs and I just got back from a trip to the new Walmart in Hurricane to fetch some snacking vittles for the trip back home tomorrow. Whilst, we were cruzin' the aisles, the thought kept passing through my head—something's different here and I'm beginning to think it's cs and me.

There were two groups of people that we saw in the store: 1. Several members of a certain religious group (women—hair in a bun, long dress, bunches of kids & one man in a long sleeved buttoned-up shirt. 2. The crunchy granola group—hiking boots and shorts.

For obvious reasons, cs and I didn't fit in. She forgot her long dress and I forgot my shorts.

On a side note: Both cs and I commented that Chia would go crazy in this location (Zions). There are several quaint little towns (Virgin, Rockville, and Springdale) with photo-ops galore! We've seen several rustic barns and plenty of abandoned rusted-out farm trucks sitting out in the field—just waiting and begging for someone in Levis, a big belt buckle and red boots.

Me, I'm busy observing the electrical system. I am particularly taken by the rustic and unique streetlights on Main Street in Rockville. They have a single bare light bulb hanging above the middle of the street from the wire that strings across the roadway. There are eight of them. Fascinating stuff…okay, so we each have our quirks…but I bet that if you saw them you'd be fascinated too…everyone, but cs.
