Add another use for Elmer's glue

Embarrassing blunder of the day: While visiting Lucy & Dave and looking at their backyard, I just had to touch one of those "buds" on the prickly pear cactus. BIG MISTAKE. 1,001 mini stingers stuck in my finger and thumb. I tried pulling them out, but most of them were invisible to the eye and the rest were too small to grab. BIG DILEMMA!

Enter Lucy and her solution. Elmer's glue.

Dip your fingers in this bottle of glue.

Are you sure that I can do that? Mrs. Lott (Kindergarten teacher) got quite upset with me when I tried doing that before.

Let it dry all the way until it hardens and then peel off the dried glue. It will pull out the stingers as you peel it off.

Worked like a charm. Thanks, Lucy.

Seems she came upon this solution when one of Peeps' friends sat on the cactus. OUCH!
