A park by any other name is still a…

Yesterday, we had some time to kill while waiting for FSIL II to get off of work. cs made the suggestion to go to Randolph Park.

Seems that she used to spend hours and hours with Grandma Rose there when she was little.

It's a really cool park. With a waterfall, fountains, ponds, and ducks. I used to feed the ducks all of the time.

I punch in Randolph Park in the GPS…nothing. Look up parks in Tucson, AZ. Nothing. No Randolph Park.

cs gets on the cell phone and calls HB. You remember Randolph Park in Tucson?

No. There's no Randolph Park

Yes, there is. Grandma Rose used to take me there all of the time. It has a waterfall, fountains, ponds, and ducks. I used to feed the ducks all of the time.

There's a Randolph Golf Course. Maybe it's part of that.

He gives us the address of the golf course. Which the GPS ends up taking us to a vacant lot. We backtrack to a park that we passed on the way — Gene C Reid Park — on Randolph Way.

Turns out there was a waterfall, fountains, ponds, and ducks.
