H2O

It was "forced" movie night last night. (My male readers will understand what I'm talking about…the if you really love me, then you'll watch this movie with me type of pressure.)

So I'm thinkin' — haven't we got some laundry that I can do? — but I'm sayin' — Sure.

The movie: Water — some Bollywood production with subtitles! Man, that means I've got to stay awake. No snoring for me.

I suppose it was a movie with "deep socks". (cs' code words for "deep thoughts").

The two things that kept me from understanding and finding meaning in the movie are:

1. What show have I seen (Lisa Ray) the main character on? (Is she the gal that plays the love interest medical examiner on CSI:NY?)

2. And what did having an over-weight, toga-dressed woman talking about her gaseous-bowel-problem-while-a-child-is-walking-on-her-back have to do with the movie? (Where's the Beano, GasX, Pepto when you need it?)

…oh, yeah, there was some water (H2O) in the movie too.

Keep it coming. This is what we all want to read.

As far as being 'forced' to watch movies... I've been holding out my whole from watching Pride & Prejudice, using the "I'll-wait-for-my-wife-to-make-me-watch-it" excuse. It's worked like a charm except... I'm fearing that pretty soon, Megs is gonna make me put my money where my mouth is... Don't encourage her.

kodyboy, keep holding out. I have. Don't give in to the forces of P&P.

We can have a male bonding evening together by scratching where it itches, and watching Lonesome Dove.
